On Friday September13th 2013 at the meeting room of Talang Technical College, Advisor of PPAO – Mr.Somsak Rattanasanyanuphap, acting on behalf of Chief Executive of PPAO – Mr.Paiboon Upattising, together with Secretary of the PPAO Council – Mr.Kriwut Kumban and PPAO Council Members – Mr.Prawat Phimanprom, Mr.Sanya Srimuang, Mr.Sanya Singhasrida, Mr.Sitthichok Dechphiban, Mr.Kamron Phantip and Mr. Nualchan Samart joined to give a warm send off to Muslims who are setting off on their pilgrimage to the 2013 Hajj ceremony at Mecca in Saudi Arabia. The event, presided over by Governor of Phuket – Mr.Maitri Inthusut, also welcomed a number of guests of honour including President of Phuket Islamic committee-Komol Dumluck and Mr.Tawichat Intorarit from Phuket Culture.
In addition, Phuket has also opened up a centre at Talang Technical College to assist those travelling to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to perform in the religious Hajj which will be open until 28th September. The centre, supported by PPAO, features 30 tents, 400 chairs, 30 fans, stereo, a vehicle supplying drinking water and mobile toilet unit. PPAO Hospital has also provided an ambulance and hospital staff to provide medical care services to travellers taking part in the trip.
