On 30th July 2013 at Phunaka Golf Course in Chalong, Kamnung Singh-Aem from The Sport Association of Phuket together with Sawech Koysomboon from Phunaka Golf Course, Suracha Singh-Kajorn from Dragonkids Golf Academy and Teeraphan Chor-Prasertchoke from The Privilege Residences Patong hels a press conference to announce “The Hank Harney Seminar and Golf Clinic” which is to be held at Phunaka Golf Course on 11th August 2013.
Hank Haney is an American professional golf instructor best known for coaching Tiger Woods and two-time major championship winner Mark O’Meara. Haney owns and operates four teaching facilities in the Dallas, Texas area.
As a teacher Harney’s philosophy is to teach my students to become their own best teacher by getting them to understand the flight of the golf ball and how it relates to the swing, with emphasis on swinging the golf club on their own correct swing plane”.
Khun Teeraphan said “We would like to invite anyone who is interested in golf to come and participate in this great event by Hank Harney. He is a professional instructor and has coached many of golf’s major players as youths. This kind of activity really will place Phuket on the golfing map.
