Angsana Laguna Phuket cooks for changeAfter the successful launch of the Angsana Youth Artist scholarship supporting local university students, yesterday, Angsana Laguna Phuket put on a fun display of cooking action in the classroom. During the Angsana Cooking Challenge at Cherngtalay Wittayakom Jutikong Anusorn School, Thai Sous Chef Wannee Kalasri and her team demonstrated a “hygiene-in-the-kitchen & healthy cooking” lesson.

Chef Kalasri paid a visit to the School, where she taught students of grades ten to eleven the basics of healthy Thai cooking, plus hints and tips on the importance of hygiene while preparing a meal. The demonstration involved making smart food choices and getting the students acquainted with local ingredients. After the show, the sixty students were divided into ten teams to create their own styles of mouth-watering healthy Thai salads. Panya Hatth, Director of Cherngtalay Wittayakom Jutikong Anusorn School, Teacher Prapasri Chitchamonog, and Chef Kalasri herself were the judges. The winning team received a cooking class certificate as well as a special cutlery set.
