Logos Hope docks at Phuket Deep Sea Port On 15th August 2013 at Phuket Deep Sea Port in Tambol Vichit, Phuket Governor – Maitree Intusut made a personal visit to welcome Mr. Tom Dyer – Logos Hope Captain and Mr. Lloyd Nicholas – Director of Logos Hope and its 400 crew members which are made up of volunteers from 45 countries.

Carrying more than 5000 books and measuring more than 430 feet long, the Logos Hope is the world’s largest floating bookstores. The Logos Hope is operated by a German charity organization, and its mission is to take books, education, and community outreach around the world.

Khun Maitree Said “It is a great that Phuket has been selected as a destination for the ship, Logos Hope because the boat is a learning center that includes valuable books from all over the world, sells to the public, as well as tourists. It also allows everyone to have an opportunity to visit a large boat n tourism and to gain some knowledge about the vessel. Logos Hope also provides support and helps with the social development of all the countries it has visited. I certainly hope that in the future this boat will come back to Phuket again.”

Fri 16th, Sat 17th, Wed 21st and Thu 22nd August: 10.00 – 21.30

On Sun 18th August: 13.00 – 21.30

Entrance fee: 20 THB (Children under 12 years of age are free but need to be accompanied by an adult).
