On August 9th 2013 at Phuket Air Traffic Office, Chief Executive of PPAO-Mr.Paiboon Upatising presided over a certificate awarding ceremony. The ceremony which saw 60 lifeguards who participated and completed the “2013 Lifeguard Training Program” awarded their certificates in recognition of their achievement. Also in attendance at the ceremony was Vice Chief Administration Officer of PPAO – Mr.Watcharin Patomwattanaphong, Members of PPAO Council – Mr.Prawat Phimanprom and Mr.Sanya Srimuang, Director of Tourism and Sport Division – Mrs.Chutima Chanmi, Director of Supplies and Property Division – Mr.Suwan Chanplangsirikul and PPAO staff.
Vice Chief Administration Officer of PPAO-Mr.Watcharin Patomwattanaphong said “The “2013 Lifeguard Training Program” was held from 5th-9th August 2013 with the cooperation of the Royal Thai Navy 3, Phuket Marine Police and Phuket Life Guard Club. The program saw a large number of the general public, hotel staff, beach entrepreneurs and swimming association members in participation.”
