Amari Phuket has appointed Ms Patrizia Battolu to be Chef de Cuisine at La Gritta Italian Restaurant. Prior to joining Amari Phuket, Chef Patrizia has worked in many hotels and restaurants including the Forays in Italy.
After gaining experience in Italy, Chef Patrizia decided to move to Asia for new inspirations and to learn about new cultures, which has proven to be challenging and rewarding at the same time.
Chef Patrizia has now been living in Thailand for a little over a year and a half. Before joining Amari Phuket, Chef Patrizia worked as head chef at The Garden of Flavors on Bang Tao Beach, and also as an Italian chef at the Watermark Phuket. With more than 20 years of kitchen experience, Chef Patrizia is now taking on her new position as Chef de Cuisine at Amari Phuket. There are many roles that Chef Patrizia is responsible for in this position, including the production of food at La Gritta, creating new dishes and interacting with the guests. With this interaction she hopes to share the concepts and background of the food, as well as introduce the dishes of the day to make a memorable dining experience for all guests.
