On 27th February 2014 at the residence of Phuket Governor, Phuket Governor – Khun Maitree Intusut welcomed Phuket Sports Association President – Khun Saroj Angkanapilas and member of the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Phuket International Taekwondo Championships – Khun Kiranut Suksawad Na Ayudhya to discuss the arrangements for the 2nd Phuket International Taekwondo Championships.
Khun Kiranut said “The 2nd Phuket International Taekwondo Championships will be held on 3rd May 2014 at the 4,000-seat Indoor Sports Complex at Saphan Hin. Mr. Choi Young Seok – the National Taekwondo Coach will come to judge the competition. This international sporting event will see athletes from 10 countries competing, which will help promote tourism and increase sporting excellence. It is an opportunity for all competing athletes to increase their skills, as well as showing that Phuket is prepared to host international sporting events.
