On June 19th 2014, a meeting was held to discuss preparations being made for the upcoming PPAO Junior League Football for 2014. The meeting was held at the PPA Office in Phuket Town. Council Secretary – Kraiwut Khumban chaired the meeting which was attended by Chief of Sports of Tourism and Sports Division – Suntorn Taeptap, PPAO officials, and schoolteachers.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform all PPAO schools of the details of the upcoming PPAO Junior League Football 2014, which will take place from July 15th – August 15th 2014. The meeting also discussed modifications to some entry rules. To qualify to play, entrants must be students at the time of the event, and must be aged between 14 & 18 years. In addition, their applications must be certified by the heads of the school they are going to represent. Each school can enter teams of between 18 and 25 players with a maximum of five coaches or chiefs. Each applicant must supply ID photo, photocopies of ID cards and house registrations, and show proof of studentship. Applications are being accepted now at PPAO Tourism and Sports Division (PPAO Hospital) until July 1st 2014.
