PPAO-funded vocational training courses were launched at the Phuket Technical College on July 26th 2014. Council Member – Theera Jiasakul, acting on behalf of Chief Executive Paiboon Upattising and accompanied by another Council Member Prasit Sinsaowapak, opened the launch which was attended by course instructors and attendees.
Funded by PPAO, the vocational training is delivered by the Phuket Technical College. The aim is to equip interested members of the community with a variety of income-generating skills. The courses were participated by members of housewives’ groups, PPAO staff, students, hotel employees, among others.
The course modules include: table decoration, home-made ice-cream, IT program, bakery and basic cake decoration. Each training course lasts two days and can accommodate up to 25 students.
