On 29th July 2014 at Phuket City Police Station, Concrete Product and Aggregate Co, Ltd (CPAC) donated motorcycle helmets and traffic cones for traffic police and helmets for the general people to Phuket Provincial Police Deputy Commander – Peerayuth Karajedee, Phuket City Police Superintendent – Sermpan Sirikong and police officers who were in attendance at the donation ceremony.
Khun Worrapong Panawasu – CPAC Southern Area Director said that the donated items were to assist the Phuket City Police Station and is part of the company’s CSR activities which are focused on the local community and environment. On this occasion, 50 police helmets, 80 normal helmets and 20 traffic cones were donated. It is hoped that by donating helmet to the general public it will encourage people to wear helmets for safer driving.
Commander Peerayuth said “The items we have received today are very useful, the items donated to the police are essential, but unfortunately items such as helmets and traffic cones are often overlooked by the government due to limited budgets. The helmets for the general public are also very useful and I hope that they go some way to encouraging people to wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle.”
