Mr. Jason F. Burgett (left in photo) has recently taken over the helm as Executive Chef for DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Phuket – Surin Beach.
Over the course of his 20-year hospitality career, Jason has been based in USA and more recently the Seychelles, working for a number of restaurants and hotels, including Melange Bistro, Sushitarian, East by Southwest, The Movable Feast, and Cafe’ Zola.
His immediate position prior to transferring across Hilton Worldwide was Executive Sous Chef at Hilton Seychelles Northholmes Resort & Spa.
At DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Phuket – Surin Beach, Jason is responsible for overall restaurant operations included Asia Alive restaurant, Champions Bar & Grill, Boardwalk and The Food Store.

In addition to the appointment of Chef Jason, Mr. Panumas Nuntanawatnumtawee (right) has taken over as Food & Beverage Service Manager.
During the course of his 15-year career, Panumas has been working for a number of hotels, cruises line and restaurants, including Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, The Peninsula Bangkok, P&O Cruises Line NSW, Millennium Hilton Bangkok, Crystal Jade American & Asian Fine Dining.
For a period of time from 2009 to 2012, Panumas was Restaurant Supervisor & Service Excellent Trainer at the then Disney Cruises Line and later Mercure & Ibis Siam Bangkok for Assistant F&B Manager.
His immediate position prior to joining with Hilton Worldwide again was Food & Beverage Manager at Mercure Krabi Deevana.
At DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Phuket – Surin Beach, Panumas is responsible for overall restaurant operations.
